LAS VEGAS, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- A Las Vegas judge has dismissed battery and drug-possession charges brought last month against hip-hop mogul Marion "Suge" Knight, E! reported.
Knight was arrested in August for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Melissa Isaacs while he was driving a car that allegedly contained Ecstasy and hydrocodone. Isaacs reportedly had been treated at a hospital for unspecified injuries she sustained in the incident.

Knight was formally charged last month, however, the charges were dropped Friday after prosecutors told the court they were experiencing problems gathering evidence and securing witness statements, E! said.
