Amy Jo Johnson gives birth to girl

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Amy Jo Johnson, who played Keri Russell's best friend on the series "Felicity," has given birth to her first child, People reports on its Web site.

Johnson, 38, gave birth to Francesca Christine Dec. 1. The baby's father is Johnson's fiance, Olivier Giner, 33.

Johnson stars as Jules Callaghan on the CBS-TV series "Flashpoint." She announced her pregnancy in June, People said.
