BURBANK, Calif., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Oprah Winfrey has confirmed to "Access Hollywood" she will be taping her TV talk show in Washington during the week of the presidential inauguration.

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" has its headquarters in Chicago.

"I'm going to break that right here; that's where I'm going to be," Winfrey exclusively told "Access Hollywood" of her temporary move to the nation's capital. "See you there ... that's the place to be."

Winfrey, who is a vocal supporter of President-elect Barack Obama, also confirmed she has rented out the Opera House at the Kennedy Center to film the show in January.
