SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Gary Coleman has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and reckless driving stemming from an altercation at a Utah bowling alley.

The former child star was accused of hitting a fellow bowler with his truck after the man refused to stop taking pictures of Coleman with his cell phone camera in September.

E! News reported Coleman was fined $100 for the disorderly conduct charge and the judge said he will throw out the reckless driving charge if the actor stays out of trouble for a year.

Coleman is best known for his role on the U.S. family sit-com "Diff'rent Strokes."
