LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- British-born television actress Parminder Nagra told Usmagazine.com exclusively that she is pregnant with her first child.

Nagra plays Dr. Neela Rasgotra on the U.S. hospital drama "ER," which is now in its final season. The father of her baby is her longtime photographer boyfriend, James Stenson.

"We are thrilled and overjoyed at the prospect of becoming first-time parents," Nagra told Usmagazine.com. "Yes, our plans are to get married, but there's no confirmed date yet. We have been together for nearly seven years. ... The plan is to stay in Los Angeles. We still have a home in London, so eventually the plan is to be bi-coastal, but who knows what the future holds. We are just taking it one day at a time."

The couple's baby is due this summer, the magazine said on its Web site.
