LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Jessica Simpson says she is excited to be an aunt after her sister, Ashlee, gave birth to Simpson's first nephew.
The "A Public Affair" singer said she was thrilled with the birth of Bronx Mowgli Wentz, son of her pop singing sister and Ashlee's husband, Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz, People magazine reported Friday.
"Bronx is beyond precious. I'm over the moon with joy," Simpson said regarding the newborn's birth Thursday. "Life is a beautiful miracle. Ashlee and Pete are healthy, happy and enjoying every moment."
Simpson's parents, Joe and Tina, were also thrilled with the birth of their new grandson, People reported.
"We can't wait to spend Bronx's first holidays together with the whole family," the proud grandparents said Friday. "We are truly blessed."
