NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The Broadway revival of David Mamet's stage drama "American Buffalo" could close Sunday if ticket sales don't improve, Variety.com reported Wednesday.

The new production, which stars John Leguizamo, Cedric the Entertainer and Haley Joel Osment, received largely lukewarm notices when it opened Monday, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

The show reportedly played preview performances to audiences at about 50 percent of capacity for the week that ended Nov. 16.
