NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- CBS said France's First Lady, Carla Bruni, has agreed to be a guest on "Late Show with David Letterman," which tapes in New York City.

The singer, songwriter, former model and current wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy is slated to make her first appearance on the late-night chat show Tuesday.

She is expected to discuss her life and her music, as well as perform a song from her latest album, "Comme Si De Rien n'etait" or "As If Nothing Happened," the network said.

Also set to appear on Tuesday's Letterman show are animal expert Jack Hanna and the Johnny Cash tribute band, Cold Hard Cash.
