LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake performed separately with Madonna at her Los Angeles concert.
However, the former Mouseketeers, who dated for several years before their high-profile breakup in 2002, did not appear together on-stage Thursday night for the gig as pre-show rumors suggested they would, Usmagazine.com said.
Spears reportedly was greeted with enthusiastic applause when she appeared at the end of Madonna's song "Human Nature" and sang the last verse.
Madonna then pointed at Spears and told the audience, "She's not your bitch!"
E! News said Spears didn't dance, but Madonna spun around her, hugged her and kissed her hand during Spears's brief appearance.
Later, Timberlake joined Madonna to sing their hit "4 Minutes."
