Monaghan gives birth to girl

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Movie star Michelle Monaghan has given birth to a girl in Los Angeles, her representative confirmed Friday.

Her daughter Willow Katherine White was born Wednesday, "Entertainment Tonight" reported.

"The proud parents are overcome with joy," Monaghan's publicist told "ET."

Willow is the first child for Monaghan and her husband, graphic artist Peter White. The couple has been married since 2005.

Monaghan's movie credits include "Eagle Eye," "Made of Honor," "Mission Impossible III" and "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang."
