Will Smith nervous about daughter dating
NEW YORK, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- South African-born film actress Charlize Theron has settled a lawsuit brought against her by the Swiss luxury watch company Raymond Weil.
The New York Daily News said the suit was settled, but the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In papers filed in Manhattan Federal Court, Raymond Weil accused Theron of failing to live up to her contract to wear only its watches in public. The company demanded $20 million in damages after Theron was photographed wearing other company's timepieces.
The lawsuit is expected to be dismissed after the deal is finalized within 30 days.
The Daily News said that neither Theron nor the watch company's representatives could be reached for comment on the settlement.
Theron an Academy Award winner, has starred in the films "Hancock," "North Country" and "Monster."
