NEW YORK, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Jive Records said U.S. pop star Britney Spears is set to release her sixth studio album "Circus" on her 27th birthday.
The CD, which features her hit song "Womanizer," is scheduled to drop Dec. 2. The single recently set the record for biggest leap to No.1 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart when it shot from No. 96 to No.1.
Selling 286,000 downloads in its first week, "Womanizer" also set a new record for the biggest opening week by a female artist since Nielsen Soundscan started tracking digital sales in 2003.
Outside of the United States, the single and the video are Top 5 hits in Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Germany, Spain, England, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, Jive said.
The track listing for the new album in order of appearance is "Womanizer," followed by "Circus," "Out from Under," "Kill the Lights," "Shattered Glass," "If U Seek Amy," "Unusual You," "Blur," "Mmm Papi," "Mannequin," "Lace and Leather," "My Baby" and "Radar."
