CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Former "Survivor" cast mates Jaime Dugan and Erik Huffman have won a Charleston, S.C., wedding valued at $80,000, it was announced.

The Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, along with its partners, named Dugan and Huffman the winning couple of the inaugural Charleston Wedding Giveaway.

The wedding is slated to take place April 4 at Wild Dunes Resort.

The couple's video submission caught the attention of judges who chose them to be among four finalist couples in contention for the grand prize.

More than 35,000 people viewed the finalists' videos, then voted online for their favorite couple.

Dugan and Huffman met as cast mates on CBS's "Survivor: China," even though they grew up only 20 minutes away from one another in upstate South Carolina. Their relationship blossomed after they returned to the United States, following the rigorous outdoor competition series.

They now reside in Nashville where Dugan devotes her time to helping women at Mercy Ministries and Huffman performs in the rock band, Florez.

Three other couples will also enjoy a romantic getaway in Charleston. Wild Dunes Resort is giving each runner-up a two-night stay in a luxurious one-bedroom villa, the Charleston Area CVB said.
