Source: Cyrus living with 20-year-old beau

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- The 20-year-old boyfriend of Miley Cyrus is living with the teen U.S. pop sensation and her family in their California home, a source alleges.

An unidentified source alleges the 15-year-old actress-singer, best known for her work on the TV series "Hannah Montana," is living under the same roof as her rumored love interest, underwear model Justin Gaston, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

The source said the alleged living arrangement was approved by Cyrus' father, Billy Ray, who wanted to keep a close eye on the couple.

"Billy Ray wasn't born yesterday," the source alleged. "He figures the safest path to take is to keep Miley and Justin on a short leash -- and under the same roof."

The rumors regarding the "Montana" star's love life follow her widely reported split from fellow singer Nick Jonas last year.

The Daily News said while Cyrus has been linked romantically to Gaston in the media, the singer has yet to confirm such reports.

Source: Maya Rudolph returning to 'SNL'

NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Comedienne Maya Rudolph is returning to the New York set of "Saturday Night Live" to play the wife of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., a source says.

The anonymous source said Rudolph, who left the popular comedy TV series last November, is to play Michelle Obama during the final push to the general election, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

"SNL" Executive Producer Lorne Michaels had said before the start of the current season that he wanted Rudolph to return to play the wife of the Democratic U.S. presidential nominee.

The Daily News said Rudolph had previously agreed to play Michelle Obama during the series' season premiere, but the skit was removed after the Illinois senator canceled his appearance on the show.

The newspaper said Rudolph's return would mark the most recent appearance by a former "SNL" cast member on the NBC series. Tina Fey came back to play Republican U.S. vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Sources: Lohan's career slowly collapsing

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- U.S. singer-actress Lindsay Lohan's career is said to be further troubled by rumored problems on the set of the TV series "Ugly Betty," sources say.

The entertainment industry insiders said Lohan reportedly clashed with "Betty" star America Ferrera while filming a guest role on the popular ABC series and her appearance was promptly cut down from six episodes to four, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

"It's over for Lindsay," one of the unidentified industry sources said "She's got no film work, and after this ('Ugly Betty' news), she's not going to land TV jobs. I hear she's even tried to get on 'Dancing with the Stars' and can't."

The Daily News said another source was slightly more optimistic regarding the "Mean Girls" star's future, saying Lohan's career is temporarily "stuck."

"Every project she's had has fallen through," the insider said. "She's not even filling up her time with independent films, which is usually the strategy when work gets slow. She's a good actress. She's just stuck right now."

Jolie back from Afghanistan visit

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Angelina Jolie said after returning from a trip to Afghanistan that she was impressed by the resiliency of the Afghan people.

Jolie said the numerous poor Afghan families she met during her visit Wednesday and Thursday were indicative of the "human spirit at its best," People magazine reported Friday.

"The courage, resilience and quiet dignity of returnee families rebuilding their lives against the kind of adversity few of us can imagine shows the human spirit at its best," Jolie said.

The 33-year-old Hollywood star serves as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

People said Jolie has urged the international community to offer additional aid to those returning refugees to help them survive the upcoming winter.
