NASHVILLE, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- U.S. country music singer Brad Paisley says he learned his wife was pregnant for a second time through an unusual delivery from his young son.

Paisley said when his 18-month-old son Huck came to enjoy their book-reading time one recent morning, the child was carrying a pregnancy test delivery from his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, People magazine reported Thursday.

"My son wakes me up every day now and he brings a book and gets in bed," Paisley said.

"He came around and (Kimberly) said, 'Here, give this to Daddy.' And I saw him walk up with a pregnancy test and hand it to me," the country star added.

Paisley said he immediately joked around with his son about the pregnancy.

"He was just all happy," Paisley said of his son's reaction to the news that he will soon be a brother. "And I said, 'No, you don't get it ... this isn't going to be fun for us for the next nine months. We're in for it.'"
