LAS VEGAS, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Zac Efron is the latest celebrity rendered in wax at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, the museum announced.

Efron is one of the stars of the "High School Musical" franchise. He also had a co-starring role in the movie musical "Hairspray."

Dressed in a "Wildcats" uniform, his Madame Tussauds figure is seen holding a basketball and standing in an interactive "High School Musical 3: Senior Year"-themed environment.

"We are thrilled to bring such a stunning figure and experience to the attraction for all the fans of Zac Efron and 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year,'" Rosita Chapman, attraction manager for Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, said in a statement. "We know he will be a huge hit with fans, just like the movie."

The figure was unveiled ahead of the release of "HSM3," in which Efron reprises his role as basketball team captain Troy Bolton. His figure will be in Las Vegas for a limited engagement, and will relocate to Madame Tussauds Hollywood after that location opens next summer.
