Former 'Buffy' co-stars expecting baby

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Married U.S. television stars Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof are expecting their first child, Hannigan's publicist said.

The couple co-starred together as Willow and Wesley on the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Denisof subsequently reprised his role in the "Buffy" spinoff "Angel," while Hannigan joined the cast of the sit-com "How I Met Your Mother."

The actress' publicist told Usmagazine.com Wednesday she is pregnant and due to give birth in the spring.

The couple married Oct. 11, 2003.
