"Get Smart" premieres in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Carla Gugino has signed on to co-star with Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt in "Every Day," a big-screen drama slated to start filming this month in New York.

Gugino has co-starred in the TV shows "Spin City," "Karen Sisco" and "Entourage," as well as acted in the "Spy Kids" trilogy of films, "Night at the Museum" and "Righteous Kill."

Variety.com said Richard Levine penned the screenplay for "Day" and is to make it his feature directorial debut.

In the film, Schreiber and Hunt play a couple whose troubled marriage escalates into crisis when a sexy colleague, played by Gugino, enters the mix, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
