BERLIN, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Brad Pitt and director Quentin Tarantino are teaming up in Germany to film the drama "Inglourious Basterds," People magazine says.

The magazine said the 44-year-old actor maintained his busy lifestyle by flying to Germany Friday after visiting his environmentally friendly housing development in New Orleans.

Pitt and his girlfriend, actress Angelina Jolie, took their growing family to New Orleans to review the progress made on Pitt's pet project, Make it Right. The development project is aimed at repairing the damage done by Hurricane Katrina and offering displaced families a new home.

Now Pitt will work with Tarantino at two Berlin-area shooting locations for "Basterds."

People said Jolie is expected to travel from the couple's French chateau along with the celebrity duo's children to visit Pitt at the filming locations.
