LOS ANGELES, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Actress Nikki Blonsky and TV personality Bianca Golden are offering vastly different accounts regarding their summer brawl at a Caribbean airport.
Blonsky was the star of the movie musical "Hairspray" and Golden is a former contestant on "America's Next Top Model."
Blonsky, her father and Golden were arrested July 30 at the Providenciales International Airport after Blonsky's and Golden's families reportedly got into a physical confrontation during a dispute over seat-saving. Golden's mother Elaine was airlifted to a hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the fight.
Blonsky, 19, told People magazine she and her father, Carl, are "completely destroyed" by the incident.
The actress said the fight started when the Golden family, including Bianca's brother George, became upset because passengers were saving seats in the airport's departure area.
Blonsky said things got physical when she asked Golden to stop wagging her finger in her face.
"That's when she stood up, pulled her arm all the way back and said, '(Expletive) you, you white (expletive).' And she closed her fist and punched me," Blonsky said.
Although Golden said on "The Tyra Banks Show" Blonsky kicked her mother in the groin and Blonsky's father punched her mother in the face, Blonsky told People the story is "absolute lies."
Golden repeated her claims about Carl Blonsky's alleged attack on her mother on TV's "Inside Edition."
"He just attacked my mom... He punched her in the face," she said. "I witnessed Nikki Blonsky take her foot and kick my mom in her lower abdomen."
Golden also insisted she didn't curse at or punch Blonsky.
