Report: Jonas and Swift split up

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. teen singing idol Joe Jonas and country music star Taylor Swift are no longer dating, a source told Usmagazine.com.

The pair dated for several months, but broke up early this month, the magazine reported on its Web site.

"He broke her heart," the source said, adding that Jonas, 19, broke up with Swift,18, over the phone.

Jonas is a member of the fraternal pop band the Jonas Brothers.

Representatives for Jonas and Swift declined to comment on their dating status, Usmagazine.com said.
