LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- David Duchovny's lawyer said the U.S. film and television actor has left the rehabilitation facility where he spent two months being treated for sex addiction.

Duchovny is best known for his roles on the TV shows "Californication" and "The X-Files." He and his actress wife Tea Leoni have two children.

"David has successfully completed his rehabilitation," Duchovny's lawyer told Usmagazine.com. "He is out of rehab and will be starting a movie soon."

The celebrity news magazine said on its Web site that Duchovny and Leoni were seen together Sunday at the Czech Festival in New York.
