LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- FX has canceled its U.S. television drama, "The Riches," featuring British movie stars Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard, Variety.com reported Tuesday.

The show about a family of con artists ran for two seasons.

The entertainment industry trade newspaper said the network decided after two months of consideration to ax the series due to low ratings.

Izzard, a cross-dressing stand-up comedian, has appeared in the movies "The Cat's Meow," "Ocean's Twelve," "Ocean's Thirteen" and "My Super Ex-Girlfriend."

Driver is best known for her roles in "Circle of Friends," "Good Will Hunting," "Grosse Pointe Blank" and "The Phantom of the Opera."
