NUTH, Netherlands, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- A new European dating Web site has been established solely to help soccer fans find romance, the proprietors of FootballFanFinder.com said Tuesday.
The people who created the Web site said it "provides single football (soccer) fans with the opportunity to form love couples who are just as football-crazed as the Beckhams themselves, since football fans and football haters don't mingle very well.
"The first online community of its kind, FootballFanFinder.com will never allow anyone on its playing field who doesn't have the slightest amount of passion for football. The dating site is as dedicated to football as it is to online dating," the proprietors of the Web site said.
"The fact that we solely focus on singles with a passion for football is both unique and fascinating," Ralph van Troost, founder of FootballFanFinder.com, said in a statement. "No other dating site is doing this. So, we can pretty much guarantee our members know a thing or two about the world's most favorite sport: football."
