FRANKLIN, Tenn., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Mindy McCready will serve a 60-day jail sentence as part of a plea deal for a probation violation, a publicist for the U.S. country music singer said.

McCready is set to start serving her latest sentence Tuesday in Williamson County, Tenn., her representative told The (Nashville) Tennessean.

The 32-year-old singer was on probation for charges stemming from a prescription drug fraud case in 2004, but served more than five months in jail last year for violating the terms of that probation.

"Oh, my God, I'm gonna work," she said upon her release in late December. "Work, work, work. And sing. And go see my son, who I've missed more than anything you can possibly imagine."

McCready's toddler son, Zander McCready, had been staying with the singer's mother while McCready was in jail.

The Tennessean said McCready was arrested again in June for allegedly lying about how much of her court-appointed community service she worked.
