LONDON, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Noel Gallagher has confirmed his British rock band Oasis is on the bill for the upcoming five-day BBC Electric Proms music festival.

The BBC said the group will be accompanied by the 50-piece Crouch End Choir when it closes the festival Oct. 26 at the Roundhouse in London.

Burt Bacharach is scheduled to open the event, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Also slated to perform during the five-day music series are Keane, Razorlight, The Last Shadow Puppets, The Streets and Tony Christie, the British broadcaster said.

"We haven't decided yet," Gallagher told the BBC when asked what fans can expect Oasis to play. "We've got to go and have a little rehearsal up in Crouch End this week. I'm not sure what songs we're going to sing, how it's going to look or what it's going to be."

He did reveal, however, that the band expects to perform about six or seven songs from its upcoming album, "Dig Out Your Soul," as well as some old favorites.

"It's quite a long show this time. We usually only play for about an hour and 40 minutes. It's maybe approaching two hours this time, so it's quite long for us," he said.
