Rep: D.J. AM released from hospital

ATLANTA, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Adam Goldstein's publicist said the celebrity disc jockey was released from the Georgia hospital where he was treated following a Learjet crash last week.

Goldstein and Travis Barker, former drummer for the band Blink 182, were involved in a plane crash that left four people dead in South Carolina. Both Barker and Goldstein sustained serious burns but are expected to make a full recovery, doctors said.

Barker is being treated at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga., where Goldstein was also a patient. A friend recently told People magazine Barker is expected to go home in about two weeks.

"While he is deeply saddened by the events he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends world wide," a representative for the performer known as D.J. AM told Usmagazine.com. "We ask that you continue respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends."

Goldstein's ex-girlfriend, singer and actress Mandy Moore, was spotted buying get-well gifts for him at Mr. Balloon and Cookies by Design in West Hollywood Thursday. She had visited Goldstein in the hospital shortly after the crash, Usmagazine.com said.
