LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Lauren Ambrose and Adam Kaufman have begun work on the U.S. television movie "Unorthodox," CBS said Wednesday.

The film is to air as a "Hallmark Hall of Fame" presentation. It is currently in production in New York City and Washington, D.C. for future broadcast on the CBS Television Network.

Ambrose is best known for her work on the former HBO drama "Six Feet Under." Kaufman starred in the miniseries "Taken" and had a recurring role on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

"This quirky love story revolves around the unexpected wedding and unconventional married life of a 26-year-old widow and her late husband's brother, a handsome 30-year-old cardiologist," CBS said in a release regarding "Unorthodox."

Susie Essman, Ricki Lake and Mercedes Ruehl also star in the TV movie, the network said.
