LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Lindsay Lohan confirmed in a KROQ radio interview for the first time that she is dating disc jockey Samantha Ronson.
Lohan and Ronson are constant companions who have been photographed being affectionate with one another, but who had never before publicly confirmed they are dating.
Usmagazine.com said "Loveline" co-host Ted Stryker grilled Lohan about how long she has been "going out" with Ronson, to which Lohan laughed and responded, "A very long time."
"I hope you guys stay together. You're a very lovely looking couple," the New York Daily News said Stryker told Lohan, who then reportedly replied, "Thank you very much."
Lohan and Ronson appeared on the radio program to discuss the South Carolina plane crash that injured their friends Travis Barker and Adam "D.J. AM" Goldstein, and killed four other people last Saturday.
Both Barker and Goldstein sustained serious burns, but are expected to make a full recovery.
"Samantha and I woke up" to e-mails, Usmagazine.com quoted Lohan as saying on the radio show about the crash. "We were both really scared. AM has been a great friend to me and he's such a good guy and Travis (is) a great guy, as well, and an amazing father. It was all really scary."
