ATLANTA, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Shanna Moakler, who recently reunited with her ex-husband Travis Barker, reportedly is with the musician as he recovers from injuries suffered in a jet crash.

Barker, a former drummer for the band Blink 182, and the disc jockey known as Adam "D.J. AM" Goldstein were involved in a plane crash that left four people on board dead in South Carolina Saturday. Both Barker and the DJ sustained serious burns, but are expected to make a full recovery, doctors said.

The two music stars are being treated for their wounds at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga.

"There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time," Moakler said in a statement to Usmagazine.com. "We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever."

"It's a seriously sad situation," Barker's friend Jermaine Dupri told Usmagazine.com. "He's doing good... but I really hate to see my friends go through this."

Moakler, a model and some-time actress, has two children with Barker.

The entertainment news Web site said the couple, who divorced in 2004, have since reunited and Moakler is now with him as he recovers from his injuries.
