Will Smith nervous about daughter dating


CLEVELAND, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Metallica, Run-DMC and the Stooges are among the acts nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year in Cleveland, it was announced.
The other 2009 induction nominees are Jeff Beck, Chic, Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, War and Bobby Womack.
Five of the nine nominees are to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the institution said on its Web site.
Inductees are to be announced in January and will be officially enshrined into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the 24th annual Induction Ceremony April 4 at Cleveland's Public Hall.
For the first time, tickets to the ceremony will be sold to the public, the Hall of Fame said.
