Will Smith nervous about daughter dating
WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Carrie Fisher has narrated the new Smithsonian Channel documentary, "Stonehenge Deciphered," the network announced Monday.
The film is to air Saturday, said David Royle, executive vice president for programming and production for Smithsonian Channel.
Best known for her roles in "Star Wars" and "When Harry Met Sally," Fisher is also the author of the book "Postcards From the Edge." She is in Washington performing her one-woman show, "Wishful Drinking," at the Lincoln Theatre through Sunday.
The documentary, which was shot in partnership with the BBC/Timewatch, and an October cover story in Smithsonian Magazine, "will posit a more accurate date for the monument's completion as well as a new theory about its purpose. (Archeologists Timothy Darvill of the University of Bournemouth and Geoff Wainwright, president of the Society of Antiquaries) have a remarkable theory about the meaning and power of the Bluestones, the smaller stones in the monument's inner circle. The program will air day and date in the United Kingdom on the BBC's 'Timewatch' program and in the United States on Smithsonian Channel," the network said in a news release.
