LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- U.S. actress and single mom Denise Richards said her reality television series "It's Complicated" has been renewed for a second season.

Richards, who has starred in the films "Wild Things" and "The World Is Not Enough," is perhaps best known for her stormy relationship with actor Charlie Sheen, her ex-husband and the father of her two young daughters.

"It's coming back for another season," Richards told Usmagazine.com of her reality TV show. "We start filming in a few months."

Richards also defended her decision to have her daughters -- ages 2 and 4 -- appear on the show with her during its first season.

"They weren't there 24/7, we definitely have set hours," Richard said. "They have been around this since they were born so they were just happy momma was home working."

Asked if she had anything to say about Sheen's recent announcement that his new wife Brooke Mueller is pregnant, Richards told Usmagazine.com: "I am not commenting on that situation. I hope one day to get to a place but I'm not commenting right now."
