LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Dylan and Kelly, characters from the 1990s teen soap "Beverly Hills, 90210," parented a little boy, it's been revealed on the U.S. TV show's spinoff, "90210."
The bombshell was dropped in Tuesday night's episode as characters Brenda (Shannen Doherty) and Kelly (Jennie Garth) argued over Kelly's single-mom status, Usmagazine.com reported.
Doherty and Garth signed on to reprise their roles from the original show on several installments of the spinoff.
Their characters both had romances with Dylan, played by Luke Perry, but Kelly was by his side when the series ended. Dylan has yet to be seen on the new series, however.
Though Perry has said in the past he hasn't given much thought to returning to the zip code where he started his career, a source told Usmagazine.com he is "in talks" to make an appearance on the spinoff.
"The writers really want to do the Kelly-Brenda-Dylan plot line," the insider said.
