NEW YORK, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Sarah Palin's representative says the Republican U.S. vice presidential nominee got a kick out of Tina Fey's impression of her on "Saturday Night Live."

Former "SNL" cast member and head writer Fey portrayed the governor of Alaska, while current "SNL" star Amy Poehler played Sen. Hillary Clinton on this weekend's season premiere of the long-running sketch comedy series.

The pair said they were uniting to deliver a bipartisan message about sexism in the media and politics.

"She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween," CBS News quoted Palin's representative as saying.
