

NEW YORK, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- "American Idol" winner David Cook's debut album is to be released in November, 19 Recordings and RCA Records announced Monday.
Cook teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo for the CD, which is set to drop Nov. 18.
DavidCookOfficial.com, Cook's official social networking site, also went live Monday. Fans are now able to create their own profiles, contribute their own blogs, photos and videos and make friends. Fans can communicate with Cook by sending him e-mails at David@DavidCookOfficial.com, Cook's personal mailbox.
"DavidCookOfficial.com will also be the home of exclusive content, unique and exciting contests and will allow fans to keep track of Cook's upcoming events and appearances with an interactive map feature," 19 Recordings and RCA Records said in a news release. "Additionally, it will also incorporate a point system that will allow fans to compete for points which will earn them special prizes."
