50th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Recording artist Josh Groban is to perform a medley of more than 25 of TV's most memorable themes on "The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards" show, ABC said.

The event honoring the year's best in U.S. television is to air Sept. 21 on ABC.

"In honor of the Emmy Awards' 60th anniversary, Josh's medley will touch on some of television's most resonant theme songs -- including (those) from 'Friends,' 'The Simpsons,' 'The Brady Bunch' and many more -- the actual full list of show titles is being kept a secret until the show. This will truly be an unforgettable performance," Emmys Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement.
