CATONSVILLE, Md., Sept. 5 (UPI) -- U.S. psychologist and sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer is to pen a monthly 300-word column in The Erickson Tribune starting this fall, the newspaper announced.

The column will be titled "Dr. Ruth On…" and it is to cover a wide range of topics relating to older adults, such as advice for grandparents when their grandchildren start to date, tips for seniors who are looking to start dating again and insight into how relationships between parents and their children change as the parents age.

"We are thrilled to have Dr. Ruth writing for the Tribune," the newspaper's editor Deborah Dasch said in a statement. "She's going to be calling upon her years of study and experience as a psychologist to cover a host of subjects that are of interest to our readers."

The Tribune describes itself as a monthly U.S. newspaper with a print circulation of about 3 million readers. It is also available online.
