'Hope Is Gone' tops U.S. album chart

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Slipknot's "All Hope Is Gone" is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.

Coming in at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 this week is The Game's "LAX," followed by Kid Rock's "Rock N Roll Jesus" at No. 3, the Jonas Brothers' "A Little Bit Longer" at No. 4 and the soundtrack to the movie musical "Mamma Mia!" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" at No. 6, the compilation CD "Now That's What I Call Country" at No. 7, Sugarland's "Love on the Inside" at No. 8, Solange Knowles's "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams" at No. 9 and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" at No. 10.
