LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- David Spade's publicist says the U.S. actor has a new baby daughter, his first child.

The 45-year-old former "Saturday Night Live" player has starred in the TV shows "Rules of Engagement," "8 Simple Rules" and "Just Shoot Me." He has also appeared in the movies "Black Sheep," "Lost & Found," "Joe Dirt" and "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star."

Spade's representative confirmed to Usmagazine.com that Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace gave birth to Spade's daughter Aug. 26 in Missouri.

No further details about the baby, such as its size or name, were given.

The child reportedly is Spade's first.

"I had a brief relationship with Jillian Grace," Spade told TMZ in January. "If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility."
