

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Ted Raimi is to guest star on the the upcoming syndicated action-adventure series "Legend of the Seeker," the show's producers said Tuesday.
Raimi has appeared in the film "Spider-Man 3" and on the TV series "SeaQuest DSV."
The brother of "Seeker" Executive Producer Sam Raimi is to be seen in the fourth episode of the new epic fantasy series.
Also set for a recurring role in the Disney-ABC Domestic Television and ABC Studios series is "Xena: Warrior Princess" alum David de Lautour, the show's producers said.
Production on the 22-episode order is under way in New Zealand. The one-hour series is based on Terry Goodkind's "The Sword of Truth" collection of novels.
Co-starring Craig Horner, Bridget Regan and Bruce Spence, the show is to kick off Nov. 1 with a two-hour premiere.
