LAS VEGAS, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- TV actor Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke said at a Las Vegas event that the odds of their having a son are in their favor since he has had three daughters.
The "Two and a Half Men" star said after having three girls with his ex-wife, actress Denise Richards, and ex-girlfriend, Paula Profitt, he thinks he now has a good chance of having a son, People magazine reported Saturday.
"We're just hoping for a healthy baby, but there's a chance (for a boy) -- odds are positive," the actor said during the grand opening of the Las Vegas eatery Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant Friday.
"Odds are it's a boy, but we'll be happy with either sex," the new Mrs. Sheen offered.
The couple's comments come days after news of Brooke's pregnancy was broken by the media.
"It would have been nice to do it on our terms," said the actor, who has a 23-year-old daughter with Profitt and two daughters, ages 3 and 4, with Richards.
