NEW YORK, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Photographer Annie Leibovitz, who has made millions of dollars photographing U.S. celebrities, is allegedly $715,000 in debt, court records show.
The New York Post reported Sunday that, according to court documents, the woman responsible for photographs of stars such as actress Miley Cyrus and basketball player Lebron James allegedly has several unpaid bills and taxes.
The documents allege the 58-year-old photographer owes up to $715,000 in relation to a failed book deal, unpaid taxes, missing renovation payments and outstanding equipment rental fees.
The overdue renovation payments were for her townhouse in New York's Greenwich Village, the documents indicate.
A spokeswoman for Vanity Fair magazine, which has Leibovitz signed to a more than $2 million-a-year contract, told the Post the photographer's debts should be resolved.
"To the best of my knowledge all of these (debts) have been resolved," the spokeswoman said.
