PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Hollywood director Catherine Hardwicke says filming the big screen adaptation of the vampire novel "Twilight" has been "pretty cool" to date.
EntertainmentWeekly.com said while Hardwicke is currently mired in reshoots of the popular vampire book, she is pleased with the project so far.
"It's pretty cool," Hardwicke told the Web site. "We got to shoot some things I really wanted."
The reshoots in Pasadena, Calif., followed multiple delays during initials shoots in Oregon due to poor weather.
Hardwicke told EW.com that her reshoots of the film, which tells of the love story between a vampire and a mortal, include additional scenes involving the film's stars, actor Robert Pattinson and actress Kristen Stewart.
"It's all just icing on the cake," the director said of the new scenes.
