
SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- The annual Sarajevo Film Festival in Bosnia has honored the Croatian movie "Buick Riviera" and its director, Goran Rusinovic.
The BBC said Sunday Rusinovic was named top director at the 14th annual Sarajevo festival while his cinematic offering about the interactions between two Bosnian men, a Muslim and a Croat, won best film honors.
The actors playing those roles, Leon Lucev and Slavko Stimac, won best actor awards.
Turkish actress Ayca Damagaci won best actress award at the biggest film festival in the Balkans for her role in "My Marlon and Brando," the BBC said.
The British broadcaster said since the festival began Aug. 15, a total of 174 documentaries and movies have been screened for the assembled masses.
