LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Actress Amanda Bynes caused a minor traffic accident in Los Angeles that left another driver injured, police allege.

The Los Angeles Police Department said Bynes, 22, allegedly made an "unsafe turn" while driving, causing another vehicle to crash into her car, People magazine reported Sunday.

"It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed," LAPD Sgt. Murrel Pettway said. "The other driver complained of minor injuries."

There was no major damage to either vehicle involved in Saturday's accident, Pettway added.

The officer told People drugs and alcohol were not involved.

"It was just a typical car accident," Pettway said.
