ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Miley Cyrus will celebrate her 16th birthday with a "Hollywood-style bash" at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., park officials say.

Cyrus, known to millions of "tweener" fans as Disney TV's Hannah Montana, will hold a public event called "Miley's Sweet 16 -- Share the Celebration" Oct. 5 at the Disneyland park, a party that will also double as a call for more youth volunteerism, Disney officials said in statement Thursday.

Five-thousand tickets for the party will be priced at $250 and go on sale Aug. 30, Disney said.

"I only turn 16 once, so it's going to be an awesome party with my favorite rides, hanging out with friends, fireworks and more," Cyrus said. "I'll even get to sing a couple songs."

Disney says the evening will feature "a medley of party elements, large and small, that will allow guests to join in the celebration of Miley's magical milestone." Among the elements will be "special party zones" with themed activities and entertainment. The party will end with fireworks filling the Disneyland sky, the company said.

Also highlighted will be Youth Service America, which helps young people ages 5 to 25 to serve as charity volunteers.
