LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Dave Matthews Band saxophonist LeRoi Moore, injured in a June all-terrain vehicle accident, died Tuesday at a Los Angeles hospital, the band's Web site said.

The band said it was "deeply saddened" by the death of the 46-year-old musician. It said he died "unexpectedly" at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center from sudden complications stemming from his ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Va.

Moore had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin a physical rehabilitation program.
