NASHVILLE, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Country music star John Rich has announced the release of the music video for "Raisin' McCain," his song supporting the Republican U.S. presidential candidate.
"Every American anthem deserves a rockin' music video, and that's exactly what we made," Rich said in a statement Friday. "The 'Raisin' McCain' video is another way for me to celebrate and support Senator McCain and ultimately inspire people to vote."
The music video features Rich and a full band performing before a crowd of John McCain supporters. In the video, Rich plays a guitar emblazoned with the word "VOTE."
The video can be seen at www.johnrich.com and will also be featured during the upcoming Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn.
"Sen. McCain is a true maverick and our country's biggest patriot -- the energy and spirit of the video reflect those invaluable qualities," said Rich, a Texas native and one half of the duo, Big & Rich.
