LOS ANGELES, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Liam Neeson and Orlando Bloom are to star in Brazilian director Andrucha Waddington's big-screen adaptation of Bill Carter's book "Fools Rush In."
Variety.com said "No Country for Old Men" Oscar winner Javier Bardem is in talks for a supporting role in the film, which is based on Carter's experiences as an aid worker in Sarajevo.
"I read the script, and the very human story and the very core of this film spoke to me very clearly," Variety.com quoted Bloom as telling reporters in Sarajevo. "This is a departure from the very big Hollywood productions."
Waddington is expected to start shooting the movie in Sarajevo at the end of the year, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
Neeson has starred in the films "Seraphim Falls," "Kinsey," "Batman Begins," "Schindler's List" and "Michael Collins."
Bloom is best known for his work in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and the "Lord of the Rings" pictures.
